SPD for installation in direct or alternate current circuits, usually installed at power switchboards or inputs according to the IEC (European) and/or NEMA standards.
VCL SLIM
It uses a Zinc Oxide Varistor (MOV) associated to a thermal (over-temperature) and electric (overcurrent) switch-off device. It is usually installed between phase and neutral, phase and earth, or positive and negative and earth. It features visual operating status indication and may be optionally supplied with dry reversible contacts (NA or NF) for remote signal.
DCL SLIM
It uses the efficient Silicon Avalanche Diode technology: fast, accurate and resistant. It may be optionally provided with dry reversible contacts (NA or NF) for remote signal.
GCL N/PE SLIM
Usually a Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) is installed between neutral and earth. This device is used also in signal circuits between positive and negative and earth.
SCL
Usually a Spark Gap (CSG) is installed between phase and neutral, phase and earth, or between positive and negative and earth. It features high pulse current capacity, up to 60kA (10/350).
