About Clamper
Clamper is a company in the state of Minas Gerais, in the Southeast of Brazil, with a technologic development talent, cutting-edge experience and aware of the most recent market demands.  The company is organized as a technologic based industry of intensive technology use. It develops products, specifies components, selects suppliers and uses its assembly line to trade with the internal and external market.

Clamper is a successful brand. Founded in 1991, the company is now national reference in its operating segment: the manufacturing of anti-surge protective devices (SPD), systems which operate from continuous currents to high frequencies. Clamper keeps its market position by feeding it vigorously and continuously, in its exercise of production mastery, based in a unique standard quality and in constant investment in research and technology development.

Clamper industrial plant is in a strategic position. Apart from being installed in Minas Gerais – a state where basically all the main national integrated roads cross, the industry is located in Lagoa Santa, LMG-800 (a local road) just 6 km away from Tancredo Neves International Airport. This road is part of an express road (Linha Verde) which has approximately 50 km of extension and links the capital city centre to the airport terminal.

But the connection between Clamper and Tancredo Neves International Airport goes beyond their geographic location. The airport is the first industrial airport to operate in the country and Clamper is the industry which began its operation inside an airport terminal.

As the first company to operate inside a brazilian airport, Clamper has enough area and assembly line which allows it to import inputs, assemble its products and export them from the airport itself with flexibility and incomparable operation and logistic.

The airport makes operation easy in an industrial plant, free from bureaucracy and with reduction of tariff, taxation and logistics costs, which generates attractive financial returns, productivity gains, increases value in production range and competitiveness in the market.

As a direct result, the operational structure of Tancredo Neves International Airport compares itself to the main industrial airports in the world, such as: Alliance (Texas, USA); Los Angeles Industrial Airport (California, USA); Schiphol (Holland); Hong Kong Industrial Airport; Incheon (South Korea); Penang (Malaysia) e Subic Bai Freeport (Philippines).
